My friend Louise asked me if I could speak in her Photoshop / Illustrator class at Fashion Careers College this past Friday. I basically broke down my experiences in the graphic design field and what it takes to create a whole season from inspiration to production. One day, these students may become the future in fashion, so I am glad to have been able to help shed some light in what goes on in the real world. Thanks for having me guys!
Aside from my everyday design job, I have a little side hobby of making music and collecting records. This past Saturday was National Record Store Day and also the San Diego Record Show. The show happens every 3 months here in San Diego, and is a good source for not only buying good music, but to also get good design inspiration. I have not touched my MPC in a while, and so I knew when I got home, I was going to try to work on some music.
